Job Description

As a Label Dispatch Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our regulated products meet quality specifications. You will be responsible for printing customer-facing labels and preparing lot-specific batch records, both independently and as part of a team. Your work will adhere to established standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO, GMP, and FDA standards. Attention to detail and effective communication are essential to prevent errors that could result in non-conforming products. Training will be provided through one-on-one instruction to ensure proficiency.

Responsibilities

Print customer-facing labels for regulated products.Prepare lot-specific batch records in accordance with standard operating procedures.Peer review batch record packets and labels.Communicate and interface with workgroups to complete daily production tasks.Operate within a standard laboratory environment while adhering to PPE requirements.Complete company training requirements on time.Work with high accuracy to prevent non-conforming products.Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies.Maintain strong attendance and punctuality.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 1-2 years related experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.Proven ability to follow policies, procedures, and meet production schedules.Experience working with batch records and within a fast-paced science company.Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Biology or chemistry experience is preferred but not required.Previous experience with Bartender Software, Xerox, or the person Printer is preferred.Experience in a life science company is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a clean room and office environment, primarily at a computer reviewing batch records and creating labels. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and follow PPE requirements within the manufacturing area. This includes wearing a company-provided hairnet, beard net (if applicable), lab coat, safety glasses, and closed shoes. No exposed skin other than the neck and face is allowed. You will be working mostly with computers, documents, and printers such as Xerox and the person/Sato label printers. The position is on the 3rd shift from 10pm to 6:30am.

This is a Contract position based out of Frederick, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $22.05/hr.
