Lab/Test Engineer 2
Our client, the Global Leader in Technology is looking for a **Lab/Test Engineer II** with strong configuration and automation skills to support end-to-end testing, lab maintenance, and pipeline optimization for Mixed Reality (MR) devices, specifically the **Quest 3/3S** . This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge hardware and software, while contributing to the health and performance of critical CI/CD systems. **Job Title: Lab/Test Engineer II** **Location: Redmond, WA** **Pay Range: $41/Hr - $45/Hr on W2** **What’s the Job?** + **Execute Build Verification Tests (BVTs)** on Quest 3/3S devices to identify and escalate bugs. + Build systems and tools for automated testing and bug detection. + **Reproduce and troubleshoot bugs** , including those reported by customers. + Use **Azure DevOps** to automate and monitor CI/CD pipelines using **YAML** and **PowerShell** . + Conduct **performance and network testing** across 2D and 3D applications. + Wear and operate **Quest headsets for 2–3 hours daily** to test streaming and MR functionality. + Monitor lab system health, validate configurations, and resolve recurring issues. + Maintain and troubleshoot lab PCs and mixed reality hardware/software. **What’s Needed?** + **2-4 years** of experience in lab testing, system configuration, and debugging. + Proven experience with **C#** , **.NET** , and **COM** for scripting and automation. + Expertise in **CI/CD automation** using **Azure DevOps** , **YAML** , and **PowerShell** . + Familiarity with **Quest or similar headsets** , and hands-on experience testing immersive environments. + Strong understanding of **network and performance testing** methodologies. + Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to reproduce complex bugs. **What’s in it for me?** + **Hands-on experience with Mixed Reality** technologies in a fast-paced, real-world environment. + Gain **highly transferable skills** in automation, testing, and hardware-software integration. + Be part of a **collaborative and learning-driven team** , with daily opportunities to grow.
