**Position: Packaging Lab Assistant** **Duration: 6 months** **Location: Clark NJ** **Pay range: $23/hr- $25/hr** **Scope of Role:** The Packaging Lab Assistant supports packaging testing and sample preparation for new product launches, formula renovations, and packaging changes. This is a hands-on laboratory role with a focus on executing test methods, recording data, and supporting the team’s priorities. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist with **packaging testing** for new launches, formula updates, and packaging modifications. + Perform **hands-on lab work** : + Execute packaging test methods (drop test, decoration testing, filling, sample evaluation, etc.). + Create data templates, **record test results** , and communicate findings to the team. + Assist with **filling and sorting finished goods** for launches and changes. + Support the team as needed, based on priority tasks. **Required Qualifications:** + Technical or scientific background preferred (e.g., **engineering, material science, packaging** ). + **Proficient in Excel** ; able to quickly learn web-based software. + Strong **organizational and communication skills** . + Excellent **attention to detail** . + **Curious mindset** and a passion for learning. + Capable of **repeated bending, lifting, and standing** . **Top Skills and Qualifications for Recruiting:** **Technical Skills:** + **Hands-on packaging/lab testing experience** (drop tests, decoration, filling, sample evaluation) + **Data recording and template creation** + **Excel proficiency** and ability to learn new software quickly **Education & Experience:** + **Technical or scientific background** (engineering, material science, packaging, or related field) + **Previous lab or packaging experience** preferred ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
