We are seeking a dedicated QC Lab Technician who will play a pivotal role in supporting our laboratory's efficiency. This position involves a variety of small but essential tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our lab. As you grow comfortable in the role, you will have the opportunity to take on more complex responsibilities, including simple equipment calibrations and basic lab tests.

ResponsibilitiesClean lab glassware and handle waste disposal.Stock and check in received reagents, dispose of expired reagents.Maintain water carboys, perform daily equipment checks, and prepare simple solutions.Perform simple instrument calibrations and expand to more complex calibrations with experience.Assist in maintaining the sample retention process, ensuring samples are kept and disposed of appropriately.Conduct purified water testing and potentially advance to raw material testing.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma required; an Associate degree is advantageous.1+ years of quality or lab experience is preferred.Experience with lab cleaning tasks such as washing dishes, waste disposal, and using lab software (LIMS).Interest in chemistry, biology, or scientific fields for future testing and calibration roles.High attention to detail and ability to manage a variety of tasks efficiently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in GMP, chemistry, biology, food service, production, laboratory, or biotechnology is beneficial.Team-oriented and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow instructions and multitask effectively.Work Environment

The role is based in a QC lab environment where you will spend approximately 80% of your time standing. You will be required to walk throughout the facility, including production and shipping/receiving areas, to receive samples and manage inventory. This position is integral to the QC department and involves collaboration with various departments. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
