Job Description We are seeking an entry‑level Laboratory Analyst with 1–3 years of experience in an analytical laboratory environment. Candidates should have hands‑on experience with GC and/or LC chromatography and a solid understanding of instrumental analysis. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook in a laboratory setting is preferred. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and demonstrates strong attention to detail while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities + Perform analytical testing using GC and/or LC instrumentation + Follow established laboratory procedures and documentation practices + Record, analyze, and interpret data accurately + Prepare reports and communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats + Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and team members to support laboratory operations + Apply problem‑solving skills to define issues, collect data, and draw valid conclusions + Work effectively with instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Required Qualifications + 1–3 years of experience in an analytical laboratory + Hands‑on experience with GC and/or LC chromatography + Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment + Strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications + Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) in a lab setting + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to interpret business documents, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duffield, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
