Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician who will be responsible for understanding and following Quality System documents relevant to their responsibilities, such as the Quality Manual, SOPs, and Methods. The technician will adhere to quality measures that meet or exceed standards set by ISO/IEC, government regulatory (cGMP, GLP), and company requirements. Additionally, the role involves ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate proficiency in at least one core method and conduct at least one other assigned method with minimal supervision.Operate all required basic lab equipment within the department.Set up batches of samples to weigh and weigh samples accurately.Perform timely and accurate analysis of samples to meet customer commitments, including preparing samples for analysis, using appropriate methods and techniques, and applying suitable data reduction.Essential Skills
Proficiency in Biology, Chemistry, Wet Chemistry, Pipetting, and HPLC.Strong understanding of quality control, GMP, and quality assurance.Experience in microbiology.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific field is strongly preferred.High School Diploma and previous lab experience required if no Bachelor's degree.Work Environment
This role operates in a large facility with approximately seven labs, conducting nutritional testing for various clients across numerous industries. The work is fast-paced, reflecting the production lab environment. The position is for the 3rd shift, from 12 am to 8:30 am, Tuesday through Saturday. Initially offered as a contract role due to volume, there is potential for permanent hire based on performance. The lab is part of a globally leading company in testing for Life, experiencing significant growth and providing a dynamic environment for professional development.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.70 - $21.70/hr.
