Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to ensure the quality and safety of our products by verifying the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products. This role involves preparing laboratory reagents, filing retain samples, entering test data into SAP or LIMS systems, and maintaining vendor certifications and inspection records. The role also includes participating in general housekeeping and routine maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Verify the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products using established methods.Prepare laboratory reagents and manage retain samples in appropriate holding areas.Enter test data into SAP or LIMS systems.File vendor certifications and maintain records of raw materials and production inspections.Participate in general housekeeping, including routine cleaning and maintenance.Perform additional duties as requested by management.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.Proficiency in wet chemistry techniques such as titration, pH measurement, and FTIR analysis.Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a related field.Experience with quality control processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of viscosity and specific gravity measurements.Experience with SAP or LIMS systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Niles, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
