The Opportunity:

UST is looking for UST is seeking an Lab Support professional to support daily platform and lab operations in a semiconductor validation environment

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

·       Support platform bring-up activities including system assembly and disassembly.

·        Install and configure Linux and Windows operating systems under guidance.

·       Assist with BIOS, firmware, BMC, and driver flashing activities.

·       Perform basic hardware and software debugging and collect logs for analysis.

·        Support rack setup, cabling, power connections, and lab infrastructure tasks.

·        Maintain lab discipline including ESD compliance, safety practices, and cleanliness.

·       Track systems, components, and accessories using inventory or ticketing tools.

·       Document platform configurations, lab activities, and observed issues accurately.

·       Work closely with validation, firmware, and hardware teams to support test execution.

·       Follow defined procedures and escalate issues to senior engineers as required

 

 

Required Skills:

 

·       3–5 years of experience in lab support, hardware validation, or platform support roles.

·       Basic hands-on experience with server or client hardware assembly.

·       Working knowledge of Linux and Windows OS installation and configuration.

·        Familiarity with BIOS/firmware flashing and basic troubleshooting concepts.

·        Understanding of networking basics such as DHCP and Static IP.

·       Ability to follow technical procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

·       Strong teamwork, communication, and learning mindset

 

Work Environment

 

·       Full-time onsite role based in Bangalore, India.

·        Hands-on lab role supporting semiconductor validation activities.

·       Remote or hybrid work options are not supported.
