Our client is seeking a Lab Tech - Sample Runner to join their team. As a Lab Tech - Sample Runner, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective time management, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Lab Tech - Sample Runner **Location:** Ada, MI **Pay Rate: $19/hr** **Shift:** 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM **What's the Job?** + Transport in-process, finished product, raw material, and miscellaneous samples to various locations on the Amway Ada complex and the Spaulding facility. + Collect samples throughout the day using a paging system and transport them with a Ford Transit minivan. + Log samples into Amway's QA data system (Lims) accurately. + Verify and distribute samples while performing minimal verification testing. + Maintain organization and manage time effectively to ensure timely sample collection and delivery. **What's Needed?** + A valid State of Michigan driver's license. + Basic computer skills. + A science background or science degree is preferred but not required. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a quality assurance environment. + Potential for career advancement within the organization. + Work in a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere. + Hands-on experience with laboratory processes. + Engage in a role that contributes to product quality and safety.
