Lab Automation Technician
**Our client in Ankeny, IA, is seeking an experienced** **Lab** **Automation Technician** **to join their team. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of automated systems within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have** **3–6 years of experience in automation or robotics** **, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.** **Location:** Ankeney, IA **Shift:** 2nd Shift (Sunday–Wednesday, 4x10-hour days - 2:00 pm - 12:00 am) **Rate: 30.00/hour** **Key Responsibilities** + Perform **preventive maintenance** on automated machinery and robotics systems. + Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment experiencing downtime to restore production quickly. + Document all maintenance activities using a **Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)** . + Develop and maintain **maintenance documentation** and standard operating procedures. + Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues effectively. + Utilize **hand tools and shop tools** for repairs and installations. + Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in and around machinery. **Qualifications** + **Experience:** 3–6 years in automation or robotics maintenance and troubleshooting. + **Technical Skills:** + Knowledge of automated components, including **mechanical and electrical systems** . + Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics. + Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite** (Word, Excel, Outlook). + **Preferred:** Familiarity with **SolidWorks CAD software** (not required but a plus). + **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces around machinery. + Lift and move objects up to **60 lbs** . + Strong **communication skills** , problem-solving ability, and a team-oriented mindset. **About ManpowerGroup, Parent Company of:** **Manpower, Experis, Talent Solutions, and Jefferson Wells** _ManpowerGroup® (NYSE: MAN), the leading global workforce solutions company, helps organizations transform in a fast-changing world of work by sourcing, assessing, developing, and managing the talent that enables them to win.
