Lab Technician - Night Shift
Job Description
Responsibilities
Conduct daily batch and physical testing on raw, in-process materials, and finished products.Operate laboratory computers, analytical lab instruments, and quality management systems.Execute incoming raw material testing and verify the quality of received compounds.Document results, review and audit information, logs, and product specifications.Assist in investigating non-chemical material anomalies on the manufacturing floor.Adhere to good laboratory practices (GLP) for safe and proper handling of chemicals.Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks for the laboratory environment and analytical equipment.Ensure regular and predictable attendance.Essential Skills
1+ years of experience in a lab or quality control testing environment using wet chemistry procedures preferred.Experience in laboratories such as academic, medical, manufacturing, or food.Troubleshooting and calibration skills.Chemical handling and batch testing expertise.Strong oral and written communication skills.Good computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Good organizational and time management skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of HPLCs is a preferred.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisonville, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
