Lab Analyst
Job Title: Lab AnalystJob Description Schedule and conduct immunological (ELISA) and biochemical tests on products and components following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Outlines of Production, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs). Assist with assay development programs and enter data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Accept primary responsibility for conducting, documenting, and defending individually assigned tests while maintaining sound scientific judgment and personal integrity. Responsibilities + Schedule and conduct immunological (ELISA) and biochemical tests following SOPs and GLPs. + Assist with assay development programs. + Enter data into the LIMS. + Conduct, document, and defend individually assigned tests. + Maintain scientific judgment and integrity in testing. + Monitor, service, and improve the reproducibility and accuracy of assigned assay systems. + Coordinate with other departments and scientific personnel to complete tasks. + Work safely with biological materials as required. Essential Skills + Excellent organizational skills. + Proficient verbal and written communication skills. + Knowledge of PC database software. + Ability to work safely with biological materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in performing immunoassays is preferred. + Statistical skills are preferred. + B.S. in Biological Science or equivalent education/experience. + 1-3 years of lab experience. Work Environment This position is based in an aseptic laboratory within a growing laboratory environment at one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
