Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 international law firm, is seeking a talented mid to senior-level Associate Attorney to join their premier Labor & Employment Group, supporting the California practice in Los Angeles and San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to represent sophisticated employers in complex labor and employment (L&E) disputes, with a particular focus on wage and hour class actions, while collaborating with a nationally recognized team.

   

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing 3–5 years of substantive employment litigation experience Extensive experience defending wage & hour claims, including class action lawsuits Strong legal research and writing skills with the ability to produce high-quality, strategic work product Experience drafting key legal documents and managing discovery Desire for trial work Ability to work efficiently within a team-focused, high-performance environment Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining strong professional relationships    

Key Responsibilities

Handle complex employment litigation matters, including the defense of wage & hour claims and wage & hour class actions Draft and refine pleadings, motions, class certification briefs, and related filings Participate in trials and contribute to trial preparation work Manage and oversee discovery, including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys across the firm's CA offices to develop litigation strategies Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on evolving class action issues Maintain clear, client-ready communication and deliver practical guidance

Compensation & Benefits
