Job Description:

The KYC Analyst I conducts the work of research, analysis and perform operational processes related to the Know Your Customer program of the Bank.

This role maintains and updates detailed tracking of Customer KYC related information and profiles for regulatory reporting purposes.

Depth & Scope:

Performs job functions aligned with policies, standards, procedures, and job aids. Ensure that work products are fit for purpose and audit/regulator readySupports the KYC Operations team by gathering information, reviewing documents, and assisting with routine reports and operational tasksRequires a basic understanding of relevant products, services, systems, and processes in your area of workComplete work within defined parameters with guidance / direction from management as necessaryRequires knowledge of the GAML function and interaction points with other related areas as well as regulatory issues/requirements for jurisdictions supported

Education & Experience:

Undergraduate Degree or equivalent professional work experienceCourse work or 2+ years' experience in a discipline or role involving information fluency, investigation, research, or financial services broadly but not specifically KYC or AMLStrong verbal communication skills preferredReading comprehension skills preferredBilingual skills preferredStrong time management skills preferred

Customer Accountabilities:

Maintains KYC files, data, and documents in a manner consistent with the KYC Policies and Standards in line with Service Level AgreementsPerforms reviews of customers as appropriate throughout the customer’s lifecycle with TDEnsures that such records, data, and reviews are prepared for review by auditors and regulatorsSupports implementation activities related to initiatives driven by the applicable specialized function including the development of and maintaining the enterprise’s KYC programs
