KOL Director, Interventional Cardiology
Job Description SummaryDefine and execute the collaboration strategy with the key opinion leaders. Design and define a strategy focused on clinical results for the new product introduction programs (NPI) and the whole sub-segment portfolio, in accordance with the marketing plan and NCA of the Interventional modalities.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop and manage collaborative relationships with reference sites and KOLs in Region.

Target the KOLs for short-mid-long term and implement a KOL development plan.

Assist the sales teams for product roadmap presentations and strategic customer engagement.

Act as an interface between the Global Product and Region teams to enable effective VOC for product innovation and development.

Prepare with Global product and Region teams the activation of new products at pilot sites and be the Ambassador for the NPIs.

Coordinate with MKG and ICC team for the generation of clinical evidences and the creation of sales tools.

Design and define a training plan for the ICC team and clinical application specialists, in close collaboration with the training team.

Elevate the clinical expertise of ICC and Sales teams building effective tools and tailored content.

 Main responsibilities: 

Establish and maintain close relationships with and collaborate with KOL users to build a network of important clients and thought leaders, developing them as strong advocates for GEHC

Lead KOL targeting strategy, KOL engagement and development plan

Lead KOL management in US, ensuring timely execution of consultant contracts

Build & Engage speakers to increase clinical excellence visibility at national congress & customer events (symposium/webinar/workshop)

Penetrate Academics in US - Build Activate KOL collaboration with global & Region teams

Lead development of show sites in USCAN

Lead NPI advanced applications adoption in USCAN

Contribute to the creation of an GEHC user community

Organize and participate in regional clinical user advisory committee meetings

Define and execute strategic clinical activation plan for region NPI activation, leading clinical evidence generation from USCAN sites/customers

Support identification & deployment of M3 pilot sites to accelerate NPI activation

Communicate to the Global Clinical teams customer feedback and assessments for new product introductions (NPI)

Work with Marketing to generate customer testimonials and sales tools articulating differentiated benefits for NPIs, leveraging clinical partnerships.

Understand, train and communicate within the organization key clinical evidences for the segment

Work as one team with Marketing and ICC team to deliver on critical enablers to success (show sites, sales tools etc.)

Develop competitive clinical intelligence in order to support the sales force by providing them with sales arguments and advantages that can reinforce the value of products with customers

Provide & elevate clinical expertise in IGS org

Support strategic projects or big deals with roadmap presentations and customer visits to Buc

Elevate expertise within USCAN ICC organization by leading regular trainings and coaching to expand KOL advocacy.

Train and support clinical & Sales teams in USCAN to sell & deliver the full clinical value of our solutions

Support the commercial or service teams in case of clinical customer satisfaction opportunities

Collaborate with care pathway teams to elevate GEHC brand    

Consolidate, analyze and summarize new procedure trends and clinical needs in USCAN market to drive Innovation with Global team

Communicate and familiarize market trends, the impact of regulations and the influence of competition as part of region inputs into WWPP

Communicate data during medical congresses, seminars organized for customers and internal trainings, in collaboration with the global team

Support global clinical teams for VOC activities (MAB, customer feedback on prototypes etc.)

Participate in future product testing and feedback sessions

Qualifications/Requirements :

• Relevant scientific or medical degree, or hospital registrations

• Highly qualified in clinical applications in the field of imaging (Interventional preferably)

• At least 10 years of experience in the medical sector, sales or marketing experience desired

• Customer relationship experience

• Experience in communication of scientific data (conferences, posters, documents)

• Job based in the US

• Fluent English (oral and written)

Desired Characteristics :

• Doctorate or Masters degree in a relevant scientific or medical discipline

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $164,000.00-$246,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
