The Kitting Specialist accurately assembles, packages, and stages kits of components and raw materials for the production floor, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory records to support manufacturing operations.
ResponsibilitiesRetrieve and combine specified components, parts, and materials from storage locations based on work orders or production schedules.Accurately count components, ensuring correct quantities and types for each kit.Package items securely using appropriate methods (banding, shrink wrap, bins, trays) to prevent damage during transport.Handle returns from the production floor, logging items and reasons for return.Keep the kitting and work areas clean, organized, and stocked.Adhere to all safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Ensure all assembled kits meet quality standards and conform to prescribed specifications.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood organizational skillsAbility to follow instructionsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred but not requiredExperience in general labor, production, kitting, assembly, material handling, hand tool use, packing, packaging, and pickingGood work history is required for this roleWhy Work Here?Enjoy yearly raises, competitive pay, and a clean work environment.
