Job Description
The role involves efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within a facility, specifically focusing on the CNC machines. The kitter will be responsible for transporting raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility, ensuring they are delivered to designated areas promptly.
ResponsibilitiesTransport raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility to designated areas.Supply production lines near CNC machines with necessary materials to meet manufacturing schedules.Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.Properly label and store materials in assigned locations, optimizing space and ensuring easy accessibility.Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety procedures and OSHA regulations.Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.Participate in efforts to improve material handling processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role.Experience in an HVAC or manufacturing environment, preferably with heavy sheet metal.Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with EPICOR is a plus.Forklift experience required.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes two shift openings: Mon-Thurs 6am-2:30pm and Fri-Sun 5am-5pm with a 10% shift differential. Training is required Mon -Thurs, 6am-4:30pm for one week. The role requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed, and climb portable ladders. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are essential, along with the use of Personal Protection Equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, Arizona.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
