Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler to ensure the smooth transportation and storage of materials within our facility. You will play a vital role in supporting production lines, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring safety compliance while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
The schedule will be from 5:00AM-5:00PM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
ResponsibilitiesTransport raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility to designated areas, including the production floor, warehouse, and shipping areas.Supply production lines with materials needed to meet manufacturing schedules and ensure uninterrupted production.Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.Properly label and store materials in assigned locations, optimizing space and ensuring easy accessibility.Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.Participate in efforts to improve material handling processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.Forklift experience required.Experience using an RF scanner to track materials.High school diploma or equivalent.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with ERP systems (EPICOR is a plus).Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a supportive environment with Friday to Sunday shifts from 5am to 5pm, plus a 15% shift differential. The role requires physical activity such as lifting up to 35 pounds, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing portable ladders. Personal Protective Equipment will be required, and good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are essential.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
