Position Summary:
Perform all processing operations, including the operation of furnaces according to procedures. Documentation of all operations is very important.
Essential Functions:
Build loads for kilns by properly balancing saggers.Place fire check keys in appropriate places for Lab Analysis.Run all thermal equipment, including Wax Binder and PK furnace according to procedureSet time and temperature parameters according to procedure using standard programs. Monitor temperature charts and notify engineering if out of specification.Correct load and unload coresAssist with minor equipment maintenance.Visually inspect cores for defectsReport all problems to Supervision, Maintenance or Engineering as required Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures. Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S Other duties as assigned by supervision
