What You Will Do
Engage guests with enthusiasm, warmth, and a positive attitude—this is essential.
The 5:30 Kickback is a highlight of our guests’ stay, and your energy and interaction set the tone for their evening.
- Create a lively, welcoming Kickback experience by actively engaging with guests and making them feel relaxed and valued.
- Make our complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback… well, happy—through genuine hospitality, friendly conversation, and attentive service.
- Oversee the 5:30 Kickback by preparing food, serving guests, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable flow throughout the evening.
- Create and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting kitchen and lobby environment during and after service.
- Answer guest questions confidently using your knowledge of the hotel, amenities, local area, and events.
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met and that supplies are fully stocked at appropriate levels.
- Represent Drury Hotels with integrity, professionalism, and a service‑first mindset in every guest and team interaction.
- Deliver courteous, friendly, and proactive service with a +1 Service attitude, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and appreciated.

- Knowledge of hotel accommodations, services, and the local community, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to conduct accurate food inventories and calculate appropriate order levels.
- Ability to speak, read, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
