The Key Account Manager promotes and sells a portfolio of products, services and solutions to current and new customers. This role informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices, and creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has the ability to effectively communicate the value of PIC products and services thereby differentiating them from competitors.
You WillIdentify customer needs and develop an account plan to implement customer focused solutions. Secure stakeholders’ commitment to implement these.Drive the Key Account Team’s effort in implementing account plans. Effectively leverage and utilize resources to ensure actions are completed.Effectively communicate and sell the value proposition to customers and prospects.Negotiate, sustain and renew customer contracts.Identify the potential market area and develop a plan of penetration; Convert prospects and opportunities to new business;Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing clientsCreate and manage budget and forecasts for area of responsibility. Requirements University degree in Animal Science or related field5 years experience in Key Account Management and SalesStrong value selling, negotiation and influencing skills;Basic knowledge of Pig production and understanding of production metricsEffective communication skills; fluent in both English and Vietnamese languagesHas the necessary permits to work in VietnamKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Dyamics and Sales Software (e.g. Power BI, Customer Engagement)Willing to travel and do field work Business Overview
