Key Account Manager (Transit LATAM)
Job Description **This position is for work in a hybrid format, in São Paulo, SP.** **Who will you be working with?** Wabtec’s Commercial team is committed to generating value for customers, operations, and people by developing constructive and long‑lasting business opportunities focused on the passenger train market in Brazil and Latin America **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the Transit Sales Team in Latam region, you will be responsible to promote, create and negotiate opportunities on the sales of Wabtec products for both Services and OE segment. You will own the responsibility to create winning strategies on regional opportunities with intense work with international teams. You will participate on contracts negotiations, making sure contracts are aligned with our Terms and Conditions. You will have an important position on budget and strategy cycles, having a direct input on our numbers to senior leadership. Reporting to the regional Transit leader, you will be part of a young, in movement and collaborative team, that works together to achieve our goals. **What do we want to know about you?** + Graduated in Engineering or Busines administration with good technical understanding + Experience dealing with customer and promoting technical products and innovations; + Fluency in English + Fluency in Spanish + Microsoft, especially Excel **Desirable skills** : + Specialization on business management. + Knowledge of Transit market dynamics. + Good understanding of macroeconomic scenario on the different countries of LATAM. **What will your typical day look like?** + Develop commercial relationship with selected customers in the Latam territory, offering the company portfolio including the Services (after-market) and OEM (original equipment) solutions to Operators and Maintainers ; + Mapp the customers in all levels, identifying key stakeholders to correctly promote Wabtec solutions inside the different customer departments (Purchasing, Engineering, Maintenance teams); + Learn and be fully capable to promote the various Wabtec solutions of the different Transit BUs; + Carry out a market study to assess sales value, as well as a benchmark in other sister companies; + Understand the different customer / countries practices and behaviors in order to choose the right way to promote strategic selling; + Understand and update the installed base of products in the region, raising opportunities for services; + Understand the performance of competitor’s installed base in a way to propose the replacement of these products by our own Portfolio; + Contribute to the internal approvals process for offers to be released to customers; + Lead contracts negotiated with clients regarding the Terms and Conditions of each project, aiming to align them with the company's guidelines and propose changes to the commercial and legal teams where necessary; + Participate in the elaboration of the Transit strategic plan for the development of this P&L in the region; + Participate in the elaboration of the Annual and monthly Transit Budget/forecast for the region; + Lead the Transit offer towards the customers under your responsibility. **Benefits:** At Wabtec, people come first.
