Role Overview
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing, developing, and growing strategic accounts within pharmacy chains/distributors and emerging channels. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and flawless execution, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with assigned pharmacy chain accounts.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within pharmacy chains.Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring win-win outcomes aligned with Lilly’s business objectives.Analyze market trends, sales data, and account performance to identify growth opportunities.Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Market Access, and Medical teams.Ensure excellence in execution of commercial strategies at account level.Monitor KPIs, forecast sales, and manage budgets for assigned accounts.Act as the main point of contact between Lilly and assigned key accounts.Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Key Account Manager in the pharmaceutical OTC or CPG industries. Proven experience managing pharmacy chains/retail accounts. Strong strategic and analytical mindset, with high execution and negotiation capabilities.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.Solid proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Hands-on experience in Joint Business Plan (JBP) implementation.Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish.Preferred / Ideal Profile
