As a Key Account Executive (KAE), you will be responsible for managing a large existing book of business while also introducing focused specialty products, analytical platforms and workflow efficiencies to your clients. Striving for strong customer service with increased growth from this book of business.
The territory for this field-based position covers Nashville, Tennessee and surrounding cities, i.e., Murfreesboro, Columbia, etc. The primary focus will be healthcare providers to service existing businesses and promote laboratory testing to help improve patient health and outcomes.
Working conditions:
Must reside in the Nashville, TN or nearby surrounding areasMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordMust be able to travel to cover assigned geographic areas.Ability to travel overnight as neededDuties and responsibilities:
Educates, instructs and upselling all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory Acts as a liaison between the client and the LabCorp operations team in relation to client needs Provides ongoing service and problem resolution to customer base Ensures customer retention by providing superior customer service Recommends solutions that are client focused and persuasive Provides account management for client’s day to day operations Upsells current book of business to increase organic growth Works closely with senior sales representatives to grow book of business Continuously provides educational material to the client base Resolves any customer related issues in a timely manner Meets and exceeds monthly retention and upsell revenue quotaMinimum Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalentProven success managing a book of business Proficiency in Microsoft Office Must reside in Nashville, TN or nearby surrounding areasMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordMust be able to travel to cover assigned geographic areas.Persuasive verbal and written communication skillsSuperior customer service skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, competitive marketSelf- motivatedExcellent time management and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeProven success in upselling & client renewalsAt least 3 years' experience in Account Management, Client Success role or client facing. Current or previous clinical laboratory or diagnostics sales experienceAt least 1 year of clinical operations experience - including an understanding of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), understanding physician office workflow and service expectationExperience in the healthcare industryWhy You Should Apply
