About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous Chef – Pizzaiolo to join Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in supervising the pizza section, ensuring consistent quality, authenticity, and presentation Take a hands-on role in dough preparation, fermentation, topping preparation, and pizza baking, managing oven temperatures and techniques Assist with pizza menu planning and recipe development, including testing, refining, and maintaining accurate specifications Monitor production standards during service, correcting methods to maintain optimal taste, texture, and efficiency Support staff scheduling for the pizza section, including rosters, overtime, leave, and training of junior pizzaiolos Ensure strict hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained 

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 

Minimum of 5 years’ experience a five-star international chain in Europe and Asia in a position of Chef De Partie

Completed kitchen apprentice or chef’s training for at least one year Sound knowledge about all kinds of cooking techniques and methods

Proficiency in English
