Junior Mobile and Java Developer
CDMX, Polanco - Hybrid

Position Summary:
Thales is seeking a motivated Junior Mobile and Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to design, develop, and support mobile and Java applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to build hands-on experience in mobile app development and grow within a supportive, innovative environment. You’ll assist with technical problem-solving, contribute to team projects, and participate in training while working on impactful real-world solutions. Candidates with experience in systems administration within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle, resolve and/or escalate problems which are new, and / or highly complex; on the different SDKs (Android and IOS) offered by Thales.Build tools and full test environments used for the day-to-day troubleshooting.Ensure the support to development (Mobile App) during project phase, proceed to code, review, and follow app integration into full Mobile solution.Participate in customer tenders for the Mobile part of the offer.Provide technical customer training on Mobile SDK development and integration.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Electronics or related field.Minimum 3 year working experience in Mobile or security software applications and Java development, C++, HTMLExperience in Mobile development for Android and iOSFluency and a proficient level of business English.Swift and Objective C highly desirable.Knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems, basic knowledge in networks.Excellent oral and written communication skills, good teaming and networking skills, customer/Business oriented, tenacious, organized, rigorous and autonomous.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Android Studio, Xcode, or other mobile app development tools Exposure to Android Java, Swift, Objective-C, C++, or HTML. Exposure to Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Cloud MessagingOverall understanding of OTP, specifically TOTP and HOTP
