What this role is all about
As a Software Engineer within the IBOS engineering team at Infobip, you will work on the core internal mechanisms that power the company’s backbone infrastructure. The team builds and maintains systems for account management, user management, authentication, authorization, and SSO integrations used across Infobip. You will contribute to internal tools and full-stack applications that support Infobip's daily operations, including AI-enabled solutions. You will be a part of a collaborative and agile team, focusing on code quality, effective delivery and continuous improvement of Infobip's internal processes.
What you’ll do
Develop well-structured, testable, and scalable Java-based solutions following clean code principles
Build and maintain internal tools and supporting full-stack applications, with a smaller frontend scope
Participate in onboarding, Scrum ceremonies, team meetings, and technical discussions
Perform troubleshooting, and provide support during working hours after an onboarding period of approximately 3–6 months
Collaborate closely with teammates, share knowledge, and contribute ideas that lead to system and process improvements
Use AI tools to accelerate your learning and explore AI solutions for assigned tasks.
What makes you a strong fit
Educational background in software engineering or a related field
At least 1 year of experience in software engineering
Very good knowledge of Java and experience using Spring
Solid understanding of SQL and working with relational databases
Knowledge of Java standards, JPA, and Hibernate
Experience or basic familiarity with writing automated tests
Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum
Strong curiosity and motivation to learn how complex systems work
Proactive mindset, ownership of tasks, and readiness to take on responsibility
Strong problem-solving skills, clear communicator, and an effective team player.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Nice-to-have qualifications
Experience with TypeScript
Basic knowledge of React
Familiarity with Docker
Interest in full-stack development
Interest or exposure to AI-powered tools
