ResponsibilitiesDevelop technical drawings throughout all phases of a project.Provide experiential and technical knowledge to solve design and construction issues.Communicate priorities to both internal and external project teams.Ensure quality for work products and develop and enforce CAD/Revit standards.Assist in preparing project schedules and implementing project work plans.Interact with outside consultants and agencies.Collaborate with a team on larger projects.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required.Architectural degree from an accredited university.5 to 10 years of experience in production and coordination of documents across all phases of architectural practice.Experience in construction is a must.Experience in commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects; multifamily experience is a plus.Ability to work on multiple projects across multiple phases weekly.Advanced knowledge of CAD and Revit software.Proficient in development and documentation standards for design and construction drawings.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to listen and communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing.Coordinate projects with team members and consultants for conflicts and discrepancies.Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and include appropriate people in the decision-making process.Support design efforts and ensure the design intent is followed through all phases.Knowledge of best practices for implementing professional quality drawings.Understand technical terminology of the architectural and construction industry.Prepare complex plans, elevations, and details.Demonstrate thorough knowledge of applicable building codes for independent code analysis and compliance.Review submittals and shop drawings during construction.Work EnvironmentEnjoy a respectful and casual office environment.
