Junior Accountant
Job Title: Junior AccountantJob Description

As a Junior Accountant, you will analyze and reconcile financial and statistical data to ensure accuracy and facilitate effective reporting. You will play a key role in investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions promptly.

ResponsibilitiesProcess and prepare journal entries for month-end close.Reconcile accounts efficiently while adhering to deadlines.Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies and GAAP standards.Prepare financial data, including ad hoc analyses and Sales & Use/Business Tax reports as needed.Assist supervisors and team members with time-sensitive projects and special assignments.Contribute to departmental efficiency by supporting cross-functional collaboration.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office Suite.Exceptional attention to detail and time management.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least 1 year of relevant accounting experience is preferred.Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus or a willingness to quickly learn.Work Environment

The role is based in a small, corporate office environment, where collaboration and teamwork are encouraged. The dress code is professional, and you'll be using standard office technology and software to complete your tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
