Six-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Position Summary:
This role supports the finance department by performing a variety of accounting tasks focused on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accuracy of financial records.Assist with financial reporting and audit preparation.Execute scheduled payment runs and ensure timely processing.Enter financial data into internal systems with a high degree of accuracy.Support accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and vendor communications.Collaborate with purchasing and receiving teams to resolve transactional issues.Maintain organized records of financial documents including invoices and purchase orders.Respond to inquiries from vendors and customers, resolving issues professionally.Work cross-functionally to improve efficiency in financial workflows.Lead efforts to reduce errors and streamline AP/AR processes.Serve as the primary contact for customer billing and collections.Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, posting payments, and follow-ups.Provide support for internal and external financial inquiries.Participate in special accounting projects as needed.Qualifications:Experience in accounting or a related financial role.Familiarity with accounting systems and ERP platforms (specific systems not required).Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Effective problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
