Junior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Jr Accountant to join a client's team of ours. This role involves processing payments, managing ledgers, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be instrumental in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations, ensuring precise documentation and reporting.

ResponsibilitiesProcess payments to outside vendors.Maintain general ledger postings.Reconcile monthly billing statements.Manage supporting documentation for all transactions.Provide heavy and frequent internal and external customer service.Maintain spreadsheets for current cost analysis reviews.Support payroll accounting to ensure accurate payroll processing.Address and resolve vendor inquiries.Perform deposits using remote capture deposit.Audit and create invoices.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience (degree is a nice-to-have).1+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the long-term care industry.Working knowledge of medical health insurance benefits.Proficiency in Excel.Experience with journal entries, general ledger posting, invoicing, cash application, chargeback, and collections accounts receivable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
