Junior 3D Artist
Selected candidate for this full-time position will create and texture high-quality realistic & game-ready assets which consist of hard-surface 3D models using photographs, schematics, and sketches. Must be able to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced production environment with other artists and software designers and developers. Models will be used in Unity/Unreal 3D for virtual training applications. **Responsibilities** + Candidate must have the ability to take guidance and direction from the Art Manager, Project Art Lead, technical leads and Subject Matter Experts and be able to adapt to changes in direction or switch projects rather quickly. + Will conduct peer-reviews of the work of other artists and render feedback. + Assists with project planning efforts and estimating levels-of-effort for project tasks. + Occasional travel is required for photo-shoots and data-gathering efforts. **Qualifications** + Associate or bachelor's degree in 3D Modeling, Animation or similar discipline. + Experience building 3d models, UV unwrapping, and packing UV’s using Autodesk Maya. + Experience texturing 3d models in realistic PBR style using Adobe Substance Painter. + Must have experience using Adobe Photoshop. + Must present portfolio of past game-related or real-time modeling experience. + Prior experience with game engines (Unity, Unreal, Godot). + Must be a US Citizen. **Desired Qualifications:** + At least 2 years of on-the-job experience.​ + Experience using Jira for task and team management. + Experience working in Agile Scrum framework. + Experience working in Unity 3D. **Job ID** 2026-21597 **Work Type** Hybrid **Company Description** **Work Where it Matters** Pinnacle Solutions, an Akima company, is not just another federal contractor.
