Jr CAD Electrical Designer
Description
Actalent is looking for a motivated Junior CAD Electrical Designer to support our clients engineering team. You will assist with developing and updating electrical schematics, layouts, and drawings using AutoCAD Electrical/ AutoCAD software. You will collaborate closely with experienced designers and engineers to support a variety of electrical design projects. Specifically, candidate will be building and designing control panels.

Prepare and revise electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules using AutoCAD and/or other CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).Assist in the development of electrical design packages for projects from concept through construction phases.Incorporate redlines and markup feedback from experienced engineers and project managers into drawings.Ensure drawings comply with company standards, industry codes (e.g., NEC, IEC), and client specifications.Collaborate with electrical engineers to gather design requirements and resolve technical issues.Maintain organized project files, drawing libraries, and documentation.Perform basic calculations and checks for accuracy of designs (e.g., load schedules, voltage drop).Support coordination with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural) for multidisciplinary projects.Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of CAD standards and templates.Experience Level

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr.
