Journeyman Plumber
**Job Title: Journeyman Plumber** Job Description Join our team as a Journeyman Plumber and leverage your expertise to install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in both residential and commercial structures. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and building specifications to map out the layout for various plumbing materials. Your role will also include inspecting and testing plumbing systems to ensure they are safe, functional, and compliant with local codes. Responsibilities + Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial structures. + Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for plumbing materials. + Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance. + Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, recommending effective solutions. + Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals on job sites. + Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and work performed. + Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. + Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients. Essential Skills + Valid Journeyman Plumber license. + High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program. + Minimum of 3–5 years of plumbing experience. + Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various environments and conditions. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Expertise in stainless steel, copper, polypropylene, PVC, and CPVC materials and jointing methods. + Proficient in pipe fabrication techniques such as brazing, electrofusion, grooving, soldering, and ProPress. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring House, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
