Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Journeyman Electrician where you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in a manufacturing environment. You will conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime, troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, and work with motor control circuits, PLC systems, and electrical panels.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in a manufacturing environment.Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, motor control circuits, PLC systems, and electrical panels.Assemble and install manufacturing equipment, mechanical systems, and related equipment.Perform electrical and mechanical inspections, testing, and diagnostics on systems and equipment.Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.Collaborate with other trades and technicians to complete large-scale projects.Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.Provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency and performance.Assist in the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-call support as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Journeyman license or card.Experience with 3-phase systems and industrial maintenance.Skills in repair, maintenance repair, installation, electrical maintenance, and working with production equipment.Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.PLC troubleshooting experience.Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Battle Creek, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $93600.00/yr.
