**Job Title: Journeyman Electrician**
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including the layout and design of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Layout and design electrical, air, plumbing, and feeder systems throughout the building.
+ Execute equipment diagnostics and troubleshoot to enhance product quality and productivity.
+ Perform electrical equipment component rebuilds as needed.
+ Coordinate electrical installations for new machines or the relocation of existing machines.
+ Troubleshoot electrical equipment to boost efficiency, production, and quality.
+ Integrate electrical panels to machines for proper operation.
+ Oversee and execute projects within budget and timeframe.
+ Fabricate key functional equipment such as tables, stands, and machine guarding.
+ Ensure tools and materials are returned to their proper locations.
+ Respond to building support requests, including security response, fire protection, and maintenance.
+ Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all department/site equipment.
+ Complete contractor work permits, work orders, and purchase requisitions.
+ Work with suppliers and contractors to purchase parts and supervise outside contractors.
+ Utilize LEAN Thinking, participate in LEAN Events, and document changes from LEAN activities.
+ Follow all company safety procedures and verify safety-related devices are functioning.
+ Participate in 6S events and sustain 6S standards through good housekeeping.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
+ Substitute and back-up production/maintenance positions as necessary.
+ Support corporate activities and lean projects as needed.
+ Maximize communication flow within the department and between shifts.
Essential Skills
+ One year of experience in a maintenance department with electrical systems responsibility.
+ Advanced electrical understanding of effective power distribution.
+ Mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting.
+ Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
+ Knowledge of safety procedures for lockout/tag out and OSHA standards.
+ Solid understanding of equipment and organizational skills.
+ Basic math skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
+ Arc flash training/certification is preferred.
+ Understanding and participation in spill response, confined space team, and incident command activities are preferred.
+ Flexibility and dependability to meet operational demands, including on-call availability.
+ Occasional travel to other locations will be needed.

Work Environment
The role is based in a 170,000 square foot facility that is well-lit and includes plastics, cement (putty), and extrusion areas. The position may require assisting with large projects at a nearby facility. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring multitasking and adherence to safety standards.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
