Job Description
This role involves working at a plant shutdown, where you will be responsible for cleaning and fixing minor mechanical and electrical issues. The primary tasks include running and pulling electrical wire through conduits, bending and installing rigid conduit, and running wire to junction boxes.
Responsibilities
Efficiently run and pull electrical wire through conduits and other pathways to ensure proper electrical connections.Skillfully bend and install rigid conduit to protect and route electrical wiring, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.Accurately run wire to junction boxes, making secure and reliable connections to facilitate the electrical system's functionality.Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials and equipment as required for the project.Proficient in running, bending, threading, and cutting rigid conduit using hand and power tools.Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.Experience installing and maintaining electrical systems in industrial environments, such as motors, control panels, and switchgear.Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues efficiently and safely.Additional Skills & Qualifications
California Journeyman Electrician Certification – Required.OSHA 10/30 certification – Preferred.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $49.00/hr.
