We are seeking a dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team in West Michigan. This individual will be responsible for installing and servicing electrical components and fixtures in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will posses a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and analyze electrical systems.

ResponsibilitiesInstall feeder and branch conduit and wiring, including EMT, IMC, Rigid, PVC, and PVC Coated Rigid.Troubleshoot electrical components such as transformers, motors, panels, and circuits.Install and test electrical systems including switch gears, motor control centers, and fire alarm systems.Read blueprints, including MEP drawings and specs, architectural drawing and specs.Direct or train workers to install electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools.Skills & Qualifications State of Michigan Journeyman or Master Electrician License5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experienceValid driver's license and ability to provide transportation to jobsite.Experience with high voltage, up to 480v.Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical systems.Experience leading crews or running jobs. Work Environment

The work environment includes commercial or industrial buildings and construction sites. The position typically involves a first shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with expectations of 40-50 hours per week. Projects are usually within a 75-mile radius, with travel pay and time over that distance. If working out of town, a premium is provided along with hotel accommodation and per diem.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
