Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Description

We are seeking two experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team in Washington D.C. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe setup and removal of traffic control devices, and the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical equipment.

ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain safe Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T) control by setting up and removing traffic control devices including cones, message/arrow boards, and temporary signage.Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment such as transformers, switchboards, panel boards, conduit systems, disconnects, contactors, circuit breakers, motor starters, relays, controllers, motors, heaters, CCTV cameras, lane control signals, electronic message signs, lighting, PLCs, and VFDs.Diagnose and repair faults across a wide range of electrical assets and systems using advanced troubleshooting skills in accordance with NEC standards.Collaborate with other trades, teams, and inspectors to maintain high-quality workmanship.Perform basic maintenance and repair of structures.Be available for emergency response rotations, including the possibility of overtime, evening, weekend, and holiday work.Essential Skills2+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.Proficient in installing and repairing electrical equipment such as transformers, switchboards, panel boards, conduit systems, and more.Strong knowledge of NEC codes and requirements.Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsAny additional electrical knowledge is a plus.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
