**Job Title: Journeyman Electrician $28-36/hr**
**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians to join our team in Omaha. As an employee-owned electrical contractor, we specialize in new home installations, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, light fixtures, and appliance hookups. Our work primarily focuses on residential settings, including multi-family and custom executive homes. You will interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to plan wiring layouts and complete finish work.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install new electrical systems in residential settings, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and light fixtures.
+ Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics for wiring layouts.
+ Work efficiently and meet attendance expectations.
+ Collaborate with team members to accomplish daily responsibilities.
+ Perform troubleshooting, conduit bending, and installation.
+ Engage in rough-in and trim-out tasks.
+ Interact daily with owners and team members.
**Essential Skills**
+ 4 years of electrical experience in residential settings.
+ Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, division).
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Experience in conduit bending, wiring, and troubleshooting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with appliance installation.
+ Ability to bend, twist, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.
+ Valid driver's license preferred or a reliable transportation plan.
+ Basic hand tools and pouch required, including a hammer, tape measure, Phillips #2 screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, and wire strippers.

**Work Environment**
Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional optional overtime on Saturdays. We emphasize work-life balance and provide any necessary personal protective equipment. The dress code requires jeans without holes, a professional tee shirt, and work boots. No cut-off shirts or shorts are allowed.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
