Human Resource Contact: Molly Skala /molly.skala@wyo.gov (molly.skala@wyo.gov,) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function that may be performed at the job level. + Perform electrical inspection, troubleshooting, design, installation, alteration, and repair of main and branch circuits of interior and exterior electrical systems. + Perform work on all phases of electrical distribution systems repairs and replacement of components on a large number of complex, electronically and digitally controlled systems, both interior and exterior. Contacts outside vendors for parts, technical assistance, repairs, and installations. + Schedules tests, makes repairs, and files reports to meet national fire alarm code standards and other Wyoming State authorities. + Repair and replace power distribution panels, light fixtures, switches, receptacles, heating, and cooling motors, compressors, emergency generators, and electrical parts for HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, and electronic/digital controls. + Calculates loads for electrical equipment and designs the installation to meet or exceed the National Electrical Code and any requirements by the state of Wyoming. + Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs; assess conditions of system components to determine estimated useful life, suitability, efficiency, and repairs needed to meet industry norms. + Assist with general construction activities, including work on HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and other skilled trades operations as directed. + Maintain generators, transfer switches, and components of emergency systems.
