Job Title: Joist Shop Welder
Job Description

Join our team as a Joist Shop Welder and contribute to the assembly of structural steel for bridge work. This role involves operating welding and other machinery, working collaboratively in a team, and following schematics to assemble joists.

ResponsibilitiesOperate welding machines to assemble joists.Monitor machinery to ensure proper functioning.Collaborate in an assembly line to produce joists.Read and interpret schematics for joist assembly.Operate laser machines and other machinery as required.Perform cleaning and sweeping tasks as needed.Handle materials and conduct touch-up painting.Essential SkillsExperience in MIG, TIG, or Stick welding is advantageous.Ability to read and interpret schematics.Proficiency in operating welding and laser machines.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in any trade or vocational schooling is preferred.Reliability and strong attendance record.Why Work Here?

This is a Permanent position based out of Point of Rocks, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43000.00 - $48000.00/yr.
