Job Captain

Job Description

This role involves overseeing project teams, participating in the design process, and ensuring compliance with various codes. The Job Captain will be responsible for coordinating team efforts, managing project schedules and budgets, and maintaining client relations.

Projects Types: Retail, Commercial, Child Care

Responsibilities Include

Oversee the project team and ensure effective coordination of work.Work on multiple projects simultaneously, contributing to their design and execution.Participate actively in the design process, preparing reports and presentations for client meetings.Develop schematic design, design development, and construction documents.Review architectural drawings to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes.Monitor the progress of all construction phases, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.Manage correspondence with clients, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders.Build and maintain strong client relations.Assist with construction administration and support the team in achieving project goals.

Must Have

3+ years of AutoCad Design experience1+ years of Job Captain/PM dutiesExperience designing either Retail or Commercial buildings

Nice to Have

Registered Architect license (Ohio Preferred)Experience with Child Care Clients

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
