Troubleshoots complex, hardware, software and network issuesPerforms software deployments, patching and updatesParticipates in infrastructure upgrades and migrationsSupports the implementation, operation, and sustainment of system security protections for training and simulation systemsPerforms hands on configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and change support for network and boundary components in a controlled environmentPerforms scheduled maintenance and systems upgradesSupports audits, inspections, and vulnerability remediation activitiesMaintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned Participates in special projects as requiredWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: AS/AA in Information Technology or Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experienceRequired Experience: 3+ years of related experience; military and MTC experience preferredRequired Technical Skills:Provides systems engineering support for the design, integration, operation, and sustainment of enterprise systemsPerforms ongoing system maintenance and supports system upgrades and migrationsResolve issues involving Active Directory, permissions, group policiesStrong understanding of RMF, boundary relevant STIGS, and cybersecurity complianceWorking knowledge of firewall rules, traffic filtering, and access controlWorking knowledge of configuration and management of core switches, remote nodes, and diverse communications hardware within controlled environmentsCertification: SEC+ is required; Network+ or CCNA will be consideredSecurity Clearance Level: MUST be able to obtain Interim / Secret Clearance within 6 months of hireRequired Skills and Abilities:Must meet DoD 8570 IAM I certificationSuperb communication skillsStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to escalate appropriatelyMust be able to perform with minimal guidanceLocation: On Customer Site/moderate travel to other customer sites throughout Pacific AoRGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:
