Formal training or certification on software engineering* concepts and 5+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced in one or more programming language(s) - Deep expertise in Core Java. Skilled in Linux, REST API, Spring Boot, SQL with experience across the full SDLC.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and Java garbage collection (GC). Experience with multi-threaded and distributed systems. Experience with large-scale distributed, mission-critical systemsFamiliarity with message/event-driven applications and Messaging APIs (JMS). Knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, resiliency, and application securityStrong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
