The analyst/associate PM will work for Japan equity team with a primary goal to contribute to the performance of Japan equity portfolios. Each member in Japan Team works as generalists. The person seeks to identify attractively valued quality business opportunities in Japan based primarily on the bottom-up analysis. To accomplish our goal to generate economically meaningful levels of consistent outperformance, the analyst becomes an expert in particular areas/industries to make buy/sell recommendations to senior portfolio managers. Please note Boston is the preferred location but the ability to work onsite at any Columbia Threadneedle office will be considered.

Qualifications:

Qualification: BA/BS and CMA (Japanese CFA)/CFARequirement: Strong writing and speaking capability in English and a native level of Japanese language skill is requiredOther: a performance track record over the last 5 years
