Job Title: Janitorial Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous housekeeper to ensure our facilities remain clean, sanitized, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, maintain supply inventories, and uphold health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.Dust and wipe down furniture, light fixtures, and baseboards.Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, stall partitions, and floors.Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.Clean and disinfect high-touch areas like door handles and light switches.Strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.Spot clean or perform regular deep cleaning of carpets.Restock cleaning supplies, toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and other bathroom and office products.Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report low stock to management.Report maintenance or repair issues, such as leaks, broken fixtures, or damaged furniture, to appropriate personnel.Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and cleaning equipment.Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.Adhere to all health, safety, and cleanliness standards and regulations.Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed, such as deep carpet cleaning and window washing.Clean and disinfect kitchens, break rooms, and any other specialized areas.Assist with event setups and clean-up when necessary.Respond to urgent cleaning requests in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or janitorial work.Proficiency in mopping, sweeping, sanitizing, and general labor tasks.Ability to handle custodial equipment and supplies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.Strong communication skills for reporting maintenance issues.

This is a Contract position based out of Wilson, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
