Job Title: Janitorial Worker

Pay: $22/hr to $23/hr

Hours:7am to 5pm OR 10am to 8pm

Location: East Mesa

Job Description

The janitorial worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the manufacturing facility, including production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces. This role ensures a safe, clean, and organized environment that supports operational efficiency and employee well-being.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and office areas.Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in production and non-production areas.Empty trash and recycling bins regularly and replace liners.Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed.Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers.Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies promptly.Assist with minor maintenance tasks as directed.Ensure compliance with OSHA and facility-specific sanitation standards.

Essential Skills

Experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles, particularly within a manufacturing environment.Bilingual ability to speak and understand Spanish.Familiarity with the manufacturing industry and safety protocols around production machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous janitorial or custodial experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is a plus.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.Strong attention to detail and reliability.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
