The Environmental Service Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various common areas within client premises. This role involves cleaning offices, classrooms, schools, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and other spaces that require attention. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing floors, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, and office spaces.
ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize offices, classrooms, schools, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and other common areas.Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors.Vacuum hallways, stairs, and office spaces.Perform hard-surface floor scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing.Conduct carpet spotting and extraction using mechanical equipment.Maintain wood floors, such as in gymnasiums or dance studios, including cleaning, screening, stripping, sanding, and refinishing.Clean light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, and window coverings.Use cleaning chemicals properly and safely as per manufacturer and standards.Empty trash and garbage containers.
Essential SkillsExperience in cleaning and janitorial services.Ability to sanitize and perform environmental services.Proficiency in sweeping and custodial tasks.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in using mechanical equipment for floor and carpet maintenance.Ability to maintain and refinish wood floors.Knowledge of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $14.00/hr.
