**Job Title: Janitorial Worker** Job Description Under close supervision with detailed instructions, this position is responsible for maintaining building, ground, and office areas in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. The role involves performing a combination of routine duties including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing. Responsibilities + Clean assigned areas according to established standards. + Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum offices, hallways, and entrances. + Polish furniture, fixtures, or trimmings. + Report items needing repair and hazardous conditions to the supervisor. + Follow established antiseptic techniques and use appropriate solutions to clean and wash fixtures and restrooms. + Gather and dispose of trash, wash, and reline waste containers. + Observe all laws, regulations, and obligations while conducting business on behalf of the company. + Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. + Clean carpets as necessary. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + High school diploma or equivalent. + Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English. + Valid driver's license if operating a company vehicle. + Ability to use power equipment. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform lifting above shoulders. + Ability to work independently. + Ability to work extended hours as required.
